1. General Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) regulate the legal relationship between HelixLab Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) and the user (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) who initiates a purchase through the online store operated by the Service Provider at helixlab.hu (hereinafter referred to as the “Webshop”).
Purchases in the Webshop are made electronically via the Internet.
By submitting an order, the Customer accepts the provisions of this GTC.
2. Subject of the Service
The Service Provider is engaged in the online sale of books, e-books, and related products (such as gift items and bookmarks).
The characteristics and prices of the products, as well as shipping and payment conditions, are displayed in the Webshop.
3. Registration and Purchase
Purchases can be made with or without registration.
By submitting the order, the Customer declares that the data provided are accurate and accepts the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy.
After the order is placed, an automatic confirmation is sent to the Customer via e-mail.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
The prices displayed in the Webshop are gross prices, i.e., they include value-added tax (VAT).
Payment methods:

Online payment by bank card (via the Stripe system)

Cash on delivery (cash or bank card upon receipt)
The payment method is selected during the purchase process.
5. Delivery and Receipt
The ordered products are delivered by courier service or can be collected at a parcel point.
Delivery time: 2–5 working days from confirmation.
Shipping fees and conditions are available in the “Shipping” section of the Webshop.
6. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Customer is entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal.
The Customer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receipt.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to e-books or digital content once the download has started with the Customer’s express consent.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to send a written notice (by e-mail) to the Service Provider.
The cost of returning the product shall be borne by the Customer.
7. Warranty and Guarantee
The Customer is entitled to the statutory warranty and product guarantee rights as defined in the Civil Code and Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.).
In case of defective performance, the Customer may request repair, replacement, or a refund of the purchase price.

The Service Provider will investigate the complaint within 14 days and respond in writing.

9. Data Protection
The Service Provider processes personal data in compliance with the applicable legislation, in particular the GDPR and the Hungarian Information Act (Infotv).

10. Copyright
All content appearing in the Webshop, including images, texts, product descriptions, and logos, is the intellectual property of the Service Provider or its partners.
Any unauthorized use of such content is strictly prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Webshop, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Final Provisions
For issues not regulated in this GTC, the provisions of the Civil Code, consumer protection legislation, and laws on electronic commerce services shall apply.
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify this GTC. The current version is always available on the Webshop’s website.
